TEXT → JSON → CODE: The Evolution of AI Prompting

About this video

John compares three ways to prompt an AI video model for the same starship-interior scene: a plain text paragraph, structured JSON, and code. He shows how the output changes at each stage and argues that structured, reproducible prompts beat one-off text when you need consistent results; he also uses Claude for coding and QA along the way.

Hey y'all. Uh, what is up? Uh, what you're looking at is Verdex AI. It's the behind the scenes of VO3. Um, I strongly recommend that you guys use this. Um, your outputs are going to be 10 times better. Um, and you're looking at Claude. Um, and it's saying welcome back. Um, Claude I use for coding. Um, it's super important for prototyping and for coding and QAing code. text prompting which is what this is right here on the screens. I'm against.

So, uh it looks like we got everything that um so um in my heart and heart um um um so Um so again um so um and I think we're gold. So one, two. Um um uh um um like um like 14, 13, 14 um maybe 18, 19 um a little bit before he came out with a chat agent in beta and testing. And I was always curious. And so as I started working on my own agent that reflects me, that talks to me personally, talks to me about life, those all the things because it has internet access and has marketing and all that stuff that we could do that.

Ooh, we got a next up. You ready for this one? Let's see what we got, you guys. This is number three. All code. What do you think? And if you notice in the very very very very deep background at the end, you can see movement beyond that. So to me I there is a big difference and being able to tell a story and put a story together from all of the prompts. Um I think one and two look very similar. I think three again I was expecting night and day and definitely have got it. So again if you look at the motion on this one left to right and then look at what is happening on the right hand side you again you can see that hey I clean up the opening scene a little bit but writing it in code and using Python to do it is possible and

you can get more nuance in there. You can get more granular in how all that is done. You just don't have to put text out there. You can put controls behind it to get the design that you're looking for. All right, y'all. Uh, peace and as they say, love. And that is the end of this uh like peace.
