Program Overview

What the certification covers and who it's for.

The ahmeego.com Advertising Platform Certification program tests practical, applied knowledge across six major digital advertising platforms. Each exam evaluates your understanding of campaign setup, targeting, bidding strategies, reporting, creative specs, and platform-specific features.

These certifications are designed for:

  • Digital marketers who manage campaigns across platforms and want to validate their skills
  • Data analysts who work with advertising performance data and need platform fluency
  • Agency professionals who serve clients across multiple advertising channels
  • Marketing students and career changers building foundational knowledge in paid media
  • Freelancers and consultants who want a credential to demonstrate competency to clients

Each certification is free, self-paced in registration, and available on-demand. No scheduling required — start whenever you're ready.

Exam Format

What to expect when you sit for the exam.

50 questions per exam · 60 seconds per question · A / B / C / D multiple choice · 80% (40/50) to pass · Server-timed
  • Each exam consists of exactly 50 multiple-choice questions pulled from a verified question bank for the platform you selected.
  • Every question has four options (A, B, C, D) — exactly one is correct.
  • You have 60 seconds to answer each question. The timer is enforced server-side and cannot be paused, extended, or manipulated.
  • If time runs out on a question, it's automatically marked incorrect and the exam advances to the next one.
  • You need at least 40 correct answers out of 50 (80%) to pass and earn your certificate.
  • Questions are presented one at a time in randomized order. You cannot go back to a previous question.
  • Total exam time is approximately 50 minutes maximum (50 questions × 60 seconds), though most people finish faster.

Exam Rules

All 15 rules that apply to every certification exam. Read carefully before starting.

  1. 50 questions per exam. Each certification consists of exactly 50 multiple-choice questions drawn from a verified question bank for the selected platform.
  2. 60-second time limit. You have 60 seconds to answer each question. If time expires, the question is marked incorrect and the exam advances automatically.
  3. 80% passing threshold. A score of 40 out of 50 correct answers is required to earn your certification.
  4. One question at a time. Questions are presented sequentially. Once you submit an answer or time expires, you cannot return to previous questions.
  5. Answers are final. Each answer is locked the moment you click your selected option. No changes are permitted after submission.
  6. Single-session only. You must complete the exam in one sitting. Closing your browser, navigating away, or losing your internet connection ends the attempt.
  7. Email verification required. A 6-digit verification code is sent to the email you provide during registration. You must enter it before the exam begins.
  8. Retake waiting period. You may retake a failed exam after a 24-hour cooling-off period from your most recent attempt on the same platform.
  9. Digital certificates issued on pass. Certificates include your name, platform, score, completion date, and a unique verification ID.
  10. Activity is monitored. All exam activity is logged. Automated answering, browser devtools manipulation, or shared sessions result in immediate disqualification.
  11. Individual exams only. The exam must be taken by the registered individual. Sharing credentials or having someone else take it on your behalf is prohibited.
  12. Randomized delivery. Questions and answer options are randomized in order for every attempt to prevent memorization-based passing.
  13. Closed-book format. No external aids, reference materials, or secondary devices are permitted. This is a test of applied knowledge.
  14. Revocation rights. ahmeego.com reserves the right to revoke any certification if post-exam review reveals irregularities or rule violations.
  15. Agreement by participation. By starting an exam, you agree to these rules and acknowledge that your registration data will be processed per our Privacy Policy.

Retake Policy

What happens if you don't pass on your first attempt.

30-day cooldown after a failed attempt · 3-month ban after 3 consecutive failures on the same platform
  • If you fail an exam, you must wait 30 days from the date of your most recent failed attempt before retaking the same platform's exam.
  • If you fail the same platform exam 3 times consecutively, your account is locked out of that platform's exam for 3 months (90 days) from the date of the third failure.
  • There is no limit on the total number of lifetime attempts — the cooldown periods exist to encourage genuine study between retakes.
  • Cooldown periods apply per platform. Failing the Google Ads exam does not affect your ability to take the Meta Ads exam immediately.
  • The cooldown timer is calculated server-side. Clearing browser data or using a different device does not reset it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about the certification program.

Is the certification free?

Yes. All six platform certifications are completely free. There are no hidden fees, premium tiers, or paid upgrades. Register, verify your email, and start immediately.

How long does the exam take?

The maximum time is 50 minutes (50 questions × 60 seconds each). Most candidates finish in 25–40 minutes depending on how quickly they answer. There's no penalty for answering quickly.

Can I retake the exam if I fail?

Yes. After a failed attempt, you must wait 30 days before retaking the same platform exam. After 3 consecutive failures on the same platform, there is a 90-day lockout period. There is no lifetime limit on attempts.

Is this an official certification from Google, Meta, or the other platforms?

No. These certifications are issued by ahmeego.com and are independent of Google, Microsoft, Meta, Reddit, X, or LinkedIn. They test practical knowledge of each platform but are not endorsed by or affiliated with the platform companies themselves.

What happens if I lose my internet connection during the exam?

Unfortunately, a lost connection ends your exam attempt. The exam requires a continuous session — there is no save-and-resume feature. We strongly recommend using a stable Wi-Fi or wired connection and closing other bandwidth-heavy applications before starting.

Can I take multiple platform certifications?

Absolutely. You can take all six platform exams. Each is tracked independently, with its own score, certificate, and retake cooldown. Many candidates earn certifications across multiple platforms to demonstrate cross-channel expertise.
