Mobile + web apps that ship fast

Expo + React Native + Cloudflare Workers. AI-enabled apps as our specialty — Buddy mobile and Summit Tracker are live references. Built by an engineering team that uses the same stack on its own products.

Building apps in 2026 is mostly a scope problem, not an engineering one. AI-assisted dev (Cursor, Claude Code, Buddy) makes shipping fast cheap; what's hard is choosing what NOT to build. We help on both sides.

Our framework

Scope diagnostic

What's the smallest thing that proves the hypothesis? Cut everything else. We push back on scope hard in week one.

Architecture

Cloudflare-native default. Custom only when justified. Workers for stateless, Durable Objects for stateful, D1 for SQL, R2 for blobs, Vectorize for embeddings.

Build with AI assistance

Cursor / Claude Code in the dev loop. Buddy reviews PRs. Tests written before features when the surface is non-trivial. Vitest + Playwright.

Ship + measure

Cloudflare Pages auto-deploy on git push. Observability via Cloudflare's built-in metrics + Sentry for exceptions. Real-user monitoring from day one.

Handoff or retain

Documentation written as you go (not at the end). Handover sessions if the client wants in-house ownership. Engineering retainer if the client wants ongoing.

Frequently asked

What's your stack?
Mobile: Expo + React Native, deployed via EAS for iOS + Android. Web: Astro static + React islands. Backend: Cloudflare Workers + Durable Objects + D1 + R2 + KV. AI: Workers AI + Claude via Anthropic API. Stack chosen for cost-efficiency and speed-to-ship.
Native or React Native?
React Native via Expo unless the app needs deep native integration (e.g., live AR, complex Bluetooth). RN ships faster, costs less, and shares code with the web. We'll go native when the requirement justifies it; not by default.
Do you build AI-enabled apps?
Yes — that's our wheelhouse. Buddy mobile is a real example: streaming AI chat, 9 integrated tools via WebView, Creative Validator with camera, deep linking, push notifications, free credits + IAP. Summit Tracker is the web equivalent.
Timeline for an MVP?
4-8 weeks for a focused mobile MVP. 2-4 weeks for a custom web app on Cloudflare. Summit Tracker was a working CRM mockup in days, not weeks, with Buddy assistance. Timeline depends on scope discipline more than on engineering complexity.
What about ongoing support?
Two models: (1) hand off to your team after launch with documentation + handover sessions, or (2) ongoing engineering retainer where we add features + maintain. Both work; we don't lock you in.
Open-source policy?
We open-source what makes sense (Buddy itself is MIT-licensed). Client work is your IP unless we explicitly agree on open-sourcing components. We bring open-source patterns + components into builds to accelerate.
